LAS VEGAS CHAPTER
INVITATION
3rd USA Regional Assembly
On behalf of the Officers and Members of the Order of the Knights of Rizal and Auxiliary Ladies Las Vegas Chapter, I would like to invite our Brother Knights, Ladies, Dignitaries, Educators and their Guest to the 3rd USA Regional Assembly to be held at The Orleans Conventon Center in Las Vegas. It is a wonderful opportunity and exciting to see different chapters and delegates from all over the world sharing one mission, commitment and dedication. One of which is training for the youth with deep Rizalian values. The theme is "PROPER EDUCATION: The Key to People's Freedom from Poverty and Ignorance." This is very truly relevant to our National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal vision in life. This timely gathering will not only create a closer bond of brotherhood to members of the Order but also creates international understanding and respect as well.
Most of all, this Assembly, with the guidance of the Knights of Rizal Global Chapters, will continue to inspire the youth to be the future leaders dedicated to diligence, excellence and success. With education and learning objectives, this will clearly gives life to Rizal Dream that The Youths are the Hope of Our Nation. Let's encourage them to join the Order and spread the ideals and teachings of our international hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal.
The program of activities for this year's Conferences includes plenary sessions, speeches of distinguished lecturers,
workshops and group discussions, open forum and expression of ideals, structured learning experiences, visualization of the future and action planning. There is also a cultural presentation ,songs and dances from different Chapters and Ladies for Rizal.
We look forward to seeing you ALL this coming September 3, 4 and 5, 2010.

PROMISE YOURSELF
Promise yourself to be strong
That nothing can disturb your peace of mind
To talk health, happiness and prosperity
To every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that
There is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything
And make your optimism come true.
To think, only the best,
To work, only of the best.
To be as enthusiastic
About the success of others as you care about your own.
To the greater achievement of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
And give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much on the improvement of yourself
That you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry.
Too noble for anger, too strong to fear
And too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
Dr. Jose P. Rizal was not only a Leader and a Hero but also a Father.
We are his children and from a father to his children he said:
“I seek (the welfare of my nation) by means of education, by progressive advancement; without light there is no road. We cannot find our way without the light of knowledge“.
“Knowledge is the inheritance of mankind but only the courageous inherit it”.
“Modern nations have realized the advantage to be gained for this kind of study through traveling”, and “To travel is a desire as innate in man as is the love of knowledge. Travel makes the whole world one”.
